Here are the first 60 pages of the novel I am about to finish, I very much hope.
'FREE WON'T'

- I have currently reached page 406 - there are about 50 still to do.
(The theme suggests some commonality with my 'Concerto for 12' I've just noticed...)
Click on image to the left to read some poems from the novel, the first purportedly written by the hero's absconding father (now running a large animal testing laboratory in Boston) Charlie Reece, when he was younger (3 are loose variations on poems by Baudelaire) the others written by Johnny himself, whilst in love with a Mexican thespian and student of Computing called Carlos Herrada. The letter at the end is just an attempt to give a functioning context, in the absence of the framing chapters. There are more poems, but they develop out of the surrounding prose, so hard to extract..!
